- After teaching in Central America for the past 4 years, I am excited to be back in my home town and part of the staff at Imagine Schools. My passion is working with children and using creative, hands-on approaches to teach everyday subjects. I am a 2006 cum laude graduate of Flagler College with my degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in ESOL (English for speakers of other languages). This is my first year teaching in Imagine Schools, but for the past 4 years I have been teaching kindergarten in a bilingual academy in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

I think I finally figured out how to do this. I hope you are proud of me!! I am so happy to hear all of your stories and do miss you greatly, but am so excited to read about all of the wonderful adventures God has given you each day. It must be great to be you!! Macayla! After reading about your Thanksgiving in Honduras, and how thankful you are for ALL the things we take for granted, it really made us stop and think how truly blessed we ALL are here in the states!
